Looking Back on 20 Years
Twenty years is a significant milestone, and one that gives us the opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come.
When TAK was founded in 2006, the vision was simple: to build a transportation company that customers could count on. We believed there was an opportunity to raise the standard by delivering dependable service, building lasting relationships, and always doing what we said we would do. What began as an idea backed by determination, hard work, and a willingness to take a chance has grown into something far greater than we could have imagined.
Since then, we’ve grown into a company that proudly serves customers across North America while remaining committed to the values that have guided us from the very beginning.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built and the reputation we’ve earned. Every milestone we’ve achieved, every customer relationship we’ve developed, and every challenge we’ve overcome has been made possible by people who care deeply about doing great work and supporting one another.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the years is that lasting success is built through relationships and consistency. Trucks, technology, and operations evolve, but trust is earned by showing up every day, keeping your commitments, and never losing sight of the people you serve.
When I compare where TAK is today to where we started in 2006, what stands out most is how much we’ve grown while staying true to who we are. Our operations have expanded, our capabilities have evolved, and our reach now extends across Canada and the United States. Yet our focus has remained the same: delivering dependable service, building long-term partnerships, and continually setting a higher standard for our customers.

Looking Ahead
